My ex and I went there for Marital Mediation and were really surprised. He filed ALL of the documents from the petition to the final decree. Truthfully, I did not understand some of the laws so, I went to a lawyer after Sean said we should consider seeing an attorney. The lawyer felt that we were getting great help, that she had actually sent two previous clients to Sean. It was WAY less expensive than an attorney and once I realized I could not ask for money beyond the point of separation, everything went more quickly. I guess I was angry about his infidelity but, I will get past that. The bottom line is that the attorney wanted 25,000 from each of us, that is 50,000 total. We were able to get everything done for less than 9,500. He was very calm, patient, kind, considerate, and seemed to redirect me each time I vented! I certainly learned the difference between equality and equitable.
