Ms. Godbey is absolutley incredible! From the start the team and Ms. Godbey made me feel like I was heard, extremely comfortable, and most importantly at ease. I went to a previous attorney (worst mistake ever) and after several court hearings the previous attorney would not speak up and the courts just kept taking things away. After 10 months, I went to Ms Godbey so very desperate to get my daughter back. She filed paperwork the next day had court and all the sudden the judge truly listened to her on my behalf. That 1 court hearing she fought for what was truly the best interest of my daughter and I got her back with temp orders. Brittany picked up every single phone call/email. Ms. Godbey was always on standby for whatever was thrown my way. The team truly has your best interest at heart. I could never say enough thank you to her staff as much as I have been through. And we still have more to go but with her by my side I know my daughter and I are both safe. She truly advocates for their clients!

I’m so happy I chose this law office! Not only did Ms. Schwartz WIN my case, the office staff was very attentive, patient, and helpful. My ex made me look horrible in his court paperwork and attempted to have full custody of my daughter, but Ms.Schwartz and Jamina (paralegal) made sure it didn’t happen. Everytime new declarations came in, even if they were last minute, Jamina made sure my response was written in the correct context and filed everything timely. After being swindled out of money from another law office I tried to finish my divorce myself. I had too many questions and decided to find a new lawyer. I researched many places and I am so happy I chose this office. Everyone from the receptionist, office manager, and legal staff were professional and understanding. I struggled paying, but they NEVER once hassled me for the retainer and allowed me to make payments. Malvina and Lyssandra were my legal staff. They were prompt at answering all my questions and made me feel there was hope. When Malvina witnessed how my ex husband treated me she even fixed his lawyer's botched paperwork for free just to help me end my divorce. (Yes read that again.) She is efficient and very knowledgeable. Also, she made sure to be as cost efficient as possible to help me save money! She laid out very specific details in my divorce papers to make sure my children and I were protected and always explained all of my options before moving forward! I was very skeptical of any law office after being taken advantage of. So I can personally say with confidence that there is no one better to handle your divorce than this law office! Law firm that truly will fight for you, works hard for you& finds your child a voice! They don't back down and are fully prepared. The knowledge we were represented with by Ms. Christina Godbey during our Custody/Visitation/Relocation hearings and all throughout the trial was nothing I've had before. Ms. Godbey never was thrown off course, always five steps ahead, never stumbled when presented with information, she never lacked confidence, professionalism and always stayed in communication as well as Ms. Schwartz. I was able to make payments, they never pressed me for money & was clear of financial obligations going forward. This law firm constantly gave me reassurance even when I was emotionally challenged(constantly) they had more than enough patience with me and my very messy case. The communication and support of the team with the front Receptionist Robyn, Paralegal Britney, and both attorneys was beyond what we hoped for. I lacked confidence and was at a low point in life, due to my own trauma from a past abusive relationship that involved my child and a previous messy 8 year court battle. We needed help from our situation that not only you suffer from, but your growing family, immediate family,& extended family endures because of the constant trauma & court life.(If you know you know)
After many failed past Law firms...Finally! I found a law firm I will use again and again( I mean hopefully not but if needed I would!) They fought hard for my family's peace in 2020-2021 and were extremely sensitive with our case even while navigating the court systems during covids restrictions. As my growing family became a New Military family we became separated due to old court orders, COVID, lack of finances, scared to go to court, everyday life you name it. It weighed heavy on my marriage and growing family we needed to PCS(relocate), keep our full custody and be together and end the vicious abuse cycle with my past relationship.Soon as I found this law firm they assured me that my case had hope and my family would be a unit again. After a very emotional year long new battle in court and 2 years separated as a family(Oct 2021) we moved and we're all reunited! My child involved is thriving now and I never thought I'd see this day so soon! The court mandated protection and therapeutic services and settled our case. I went in asking for my then 8 year old to have a voice & to relocate which seemed impossible, and this law firm made it possible!! Settling a case & giving my now 11 yr old the voice & protection she deserves. Ms. Schwartz, your generosity weighs heavy on our heart & mind every day we are so grateful to you and your law firm. I truly thank God for this law firm and trust/thank this law firm with my whole heart. I should have done this review long time ago but due to my hectic schedule I did not think how important it is to give a feedback to the person who defend you in time of legal cases.
My experience with Atty. Catherine Swartz was highly positive and without any second thought I would proudly recommend her. During the time when she was handling my divorce case - for the first time I felt confident thinking that she would take care of me and sure enough certainly did. The staffs are polite, professional, friendly, respectful and when time I needed something right away they would take care of it. Brittany Mason has done a great job of handling my legal docs unlike other paralegals when they makes mistakes and when you asked them to fix their mistake the law office would charge their client for correcting them. Fortunately, I did not have to experience this kind of problem in Catherine’s office.
Catherine Swartz makes you feel like you are one of her staff, family members or a friend. She was polite, professional, honest, very aggressive and she'll do everything she could to help you. She’s the type of the lawyer who treats their client with respect and at the same time she knows to relate herself of what you have been thru and with that kind of an attitude it gives her the desire to do everything in her power to helped you. I enjoyed the time with her mainly because not that she's my lawyer she was also my friend who comforts me and makes me feel like I wasn't alone.
