I retained Mr. Wood after my Chapter 13 case was dismissed. This dismissal was unopposed by my previous attorney so the case was dismissed by default. After doing some research on my own (I’m sure lawyers love it when their clients do that,) I called numerous attorneys to ask if they could file a motion to oppose the dismissal. Every single attorney I called (apart from Mr. Wood) told me my only option would be to file a new Chapter 13 case and start a new 5 year process of making payments despite already having made almost 4 years of payments.
