My sister was in a very bad car accident. Mike sought out some great PI attorneys in Palm Beach. They took great care of her and she was very pleased with the results. Mike is a consummate professional who will give it to you straight about your case and not waste your time. If you have a case, Mike will get you the best. I came across their services online and though they work in a different state, I reached out to see if they might be able to provide a referral for someone who specializes in a particular field of law. Called their 800 number for advice. I get that they're likely busy, but the guy was brusque, rude, and gave me less than 3 minutes. Edited to add: He took more time to try to discredit my review and calling me to complain about said review, than he did to talk to me the first time.

It is often said you can tell the most about a person by how he treats those where he has the least to gain. Using that measure Micheal Helfand is exemplary. Even after being told changing attorneys was unlikely he was still so gracious in talking to me. The answers given were direct, honest and without double talk or lawyer speak, most refreshing. Based on my experiences he knew exactly what he was talking about as well. All of which is in short supply these days.

Despite my limited experience with him I recommend Micheal without reservation. If you do not at least sit down and talk to him it is a disservice to yourself, I certainly regret not finding him first.
