Susan handled the sale of a condo we owned. Throughout the process she explained what her fee would be, that she would communicate with the attorney for the buyer(s), and keep in touch with me. She did that in spades! She efficiently e-mailed me forms to sign and return. Susan counseled me on how to deal with some last minute haggling by the buyers. Since I live out-of-state from the location of the closing, Susan represented me at that meeting. Susan brought to my intention that I had been entitled to a Senior Citizen exemption on my real estate taxes. She requested that the township assessor prepare and send to me the forms needed for me to request a refund. If I ever receive any funds back, I thought I should split them with Susan! The proceeds from the sale were in my hands by the end of the day of the closing. I would say that having Susan be my attorney in this transaction was a highlight of the whole property sale. Personally, I thought her fee was too low.
