Was not pleased. Went to Mary Steele asked if we had a good case and she agreed. If she didn’t feel it was a good case she should have stayed so.
At Court, lawyer seldom talked to us. Other attorney kept asking us were she went. Felt the Attorney did not speak on our behalf at all on custody.
Paid $2500 for a counseling session of how someday “daughter would appreciate father”. ‍♀️‍♀️

Mary gave good advise when she advised me to go to a mediator. I got demolished in court by the opposing attorney though. It was better for me to let Mary go and speak on my own accord. If your divorce doesn’t have drama you may get away with having her represent you. If there is drama, get another attorney.

Mary Steele helped me during a time I was financially and emotionally unable to deal with a very tough divorce back in 2008. When I first met her, she was very cool, calm, and collected and listened very well to my situation. Honestly I had my doubts at first because she was so quiet , but, she was listening to every word that I said and looking at all the facts of the case because when she went into that courtroom a whole new person came out and she understood the law she understood my needs and aggressively attacked the situation with such tenacity it literally "BLEW ME AWAY". She was able to help me overcome a huge request by my ex for a ridiculous amount of alimony. Guess what happened, no alimony and 50/50 custody. She takes her clients needs to heart and represents them with a personal feeling of compassion. I would recommend her to anyone going through a tough divorce or child custody / support situation. Stop, look no further, if you want your case handled professionally and knowledgeably then Mary Rafini Steele is your attorney.

That was the first time I worked with her. And unbeknownst to me I received in the mail a $45,000 debt for child support. I am beside myself at this point because my ex has been drawing welfare and collecting child support from me. I paid my child support and unfortunately some of it was with cash but will be provable with withdrawals from my bank account. This is the third time I am using her. If you are having any hesitation about using Miss Steele you are welcome to contact me any time. There is so much more that she did to help me and is doing currently that it would take 4 pages to explain of how well she handled and is handling my case. Horrible experience with her!!! Only cared about money and wouldn’t even tell me what happened in court. I did better on my own and got everything that I asked for. Very unprofessional and had the audacity to yell at me over the phone when I would have questions. Waste of time and money. If you really need an attorney I suggest you look elsewhere because she isn’t going to fight for you at all. I wish I could give less than one star.

WORST MONEY EVER INVESTED!!! Child Support Case - She actually told me the other attorney convinced/swayed how she represented me. I guess her and the other attorney were friends as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!
