Denise Winn-Wright is the best family law attorney in the Shasta County area. She has given me several opportunities over numerous summers to work for her during my breaks in college. She has always made sure to give me the opportunity to support myself through college. And through my experiences working at her Law Office, I have seen several successes through her cases. She has so much empathy for her clients and really wants the best outcomes for them. She is a great person inside and out, and without her I could not say how far I would have made it through college as a first generation student. Never in my life have I dealt with an attorney that lacked so much compassion in a law field that deals directly with the future outcome of a family or child. Her approach to her clients is seriously lacking tact when dealing with a parent/client that is in a battle that's going decide the outcome of their child's life. Once you get the first bill, you will be afraid to contact her, you will be left nevously wondering and left in the dark till it gets 6 days from your court date to talk to you about it, because she won't tell you anything or really help with anything during that times either, too busy belittling you before she can even get the facts and begin to understand the case. God forbid your case be a little complex..don't expect help with complexities and if you do, it will take a lot of time to get anything through to her and that time gets expensive fast, and remember quick to judge without a proper assessment of the case, she wants you to gather all your evidence and anything your opponent might need as well. Not going to help the oppsing attorney. And would do her some good to maybe listen to her clients. But no she has that old mindset that a woman is better suited to care for children. Casey Anthony....case in point. There is no way she is going to help a man get custody of his children...it goes against everything she believes in, single mother of 2 boy's. Should've walked away right at that tidbit of personal information.
