✨This firm is INCREDIBLE. April and Sherry, along with Mindy and Eric, SAVED me and my child. It took four torturous years, and countless hearings, and two trials. But this team is in it for the long haul. And beautifully look at things from a big picture perspective, while fighting in the trenches with you! I have never cried, raged and unexpectedly laughed uproariously during the darkest of times more with anyone, in my 43 years on this planet. This team is pure gold. They bolster your Spirit, and have your back to the fullest. I now have primary custody of my child, and opposing party is restrained from our Lives with two very rigorous protection orders. One protection order lasts for five years, and the other protection order lasts for the maximum time issued by the court: 99 years. In my case, my child and I are protected until the year 2,124.
Seeing that a couple of people have left what look like very premature, negative reviews - shows me that some people value superficial details like a typo, over having real Life Warriors fighting by your side. This team is prepared and ready for every battle, and strategize to win the long term war. I will choose April Thomas and her team who are trial tested and ready, over a shiny “professional” attorney who is scared to go to court and would rather settle their cases to avoid the real battles. This attorney took 3k from my family for 6 months and did absolutely nothing. She kept telling us she has 10 kids and was going through a divorce. I wish I'd known that before she took our money. She allowed our stalking situation to get 10 times worse. She never made a single phone call on our behalf and couldn't even manage to draft a cease and desist. We had agreed she would do so. Then she accused is of being disorganized because she failed to read her emails and thought we hadn't sent her documents when we had. She was unapologetic and after 6 months, we had to demand our money back. I've since learned you should expect a monthly invoice that shows the emails, writing and phone calls they make. This attorney may claim she cares about stalking victims but I'm a social worker who specializes in stalking. I've never felt like my safety was less of a concern than I did with this attorney. She couldn't even apologize for her actions.

Repeatedly called their office. All calls go straight to voice-mail. I left my phone number and email address, but got only a reply via email. April's legal assistant needs to learn better communication skills. It's very frustrating trying to make sense of some of her messages. Lastly, I was stood up for my phone appointment.

I do not feel I was represented to fidelity . My attorney got me or never attempted to get me what I asked for . She was not familiar with military law and never consulted with a military attorney in order to become knowledgeable to get me what was due. She knew I had medical issues and was out for months on medical leave . She did nothing to ensure I had medical coverage after my TRICARE was terminated. My physical health has declined . After I mentioned these things she became defensive . I feel if I were not in a slide scale I would have been represented better . My ex. Attorney was better as non of his mental health records were exposed. She took my ex word of mouth instead of requesting records . I feel robbed. She refused to Amend the decree after the fact . My mental health was taken advantage of from both my attorney and ex . My ex was a bulldog and my attorney was a poodle . It was like bringing a fork to a gunfight . I am paying my ex and my attorney and now looking for another attorney to fix what I payed them to do . I fought my attorney more than my ex the respondent . If you are rich your experience may be different.
