So... I ended up with a speeding ticket. The worst part, other that having to pay for the ticket, was the fact that the court computer site, that was suppose to help me pay the fine, charged us twice. Then, unfortunately, our bank and the court both reversed the charges and the ticket was then unpaid...which left me in limbo for a while. Luckily, there is a wonderful woman named Diva, in the accounting office, who helped my wife go through the system and correct the mistake so that I was only charged once for the ticket. Diva was fantastic at a time when so many things could have gone wrong...she lead us through the process and fixed the situation! Thank you, Diva!!!

Many people have left terrible reviews about nobody answering the phone. The first time I called, I got a recorded message saying to press a number...6 was for a directory, but you had to know the first name of the person. I went to their website and looked at the fist names of the Court Executive Officer, Kim Gallagher.
I called back, pressed 6, the 3 numbers for Kim, {546}, and Kim answered the phone immediately and was an immense help.
Thank you Kim Gallagher for your kind and gracious help!

Stereotypical uncoordinated and uneducated staff. You can't get a straight answer from anyone then get penalized for following their own instructions. If you can avoid this county and it's special interest in mass minority incarceration and suppression please do.

Can't seem to get valid information from any of the staff excluding Andrew from the free self help. Apparently the supervisor Kim Gallagher is just as incompetent and can't manage to simply process information. Forms continuously disappear, and clearly is a common issue from what other stated during my court hearing. You would think considering they have been closed to the public that the office would be more organized but Kim seems to have slipped her job duties and needs adequate training in regards to professionalism.

Judge MN is incredibly biased and flagrantly violates civil rights. It's the good old boy system and everyone has traded jobs, why the judge was even my children's attorney in a previous case. Conflict of interest is ignored, And humans are treated like garbage and it is enjoyed by all while they shred your family and sell it to the highest bidder. There is ZERO respect for the law. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This is what you get when the judge is appointed.

Trooper wrote me a traffic citation that was supposedly in Modoc County but it was actually in Lassen. The court did not inform me of this or provide any notice of a court date/need to pay bail. They were unresponsive by phone and were unwilling to help me understand the issue in any way. Reticent, reluctant, and rude- that's the Lassen County Superior Court. Guard your money and time carefully here.

I saw a prosecuting attorney tell the judge that she couldn't find the witness, the judge dismissed the case, then this lady got up and left. The judge recognized her as the witness. It was good for the defendant, but made the prosecutor, judge, and court overall look silly.
