January 2023 Morris Bart’s law firm referred me to King-Simmons Law firm for my workers comp case at this time they are attorney that was assigned to Darryl Matthew Always seem edgy and irritated with me when I was trying to understand this legal process. He treated me as if I was a burden to him and the legal establishment he represented. I reported him I thought things will get better. I performed most of the work and reported the progress to their law firm!!! Darryl Matthew, ignored blocked my phone number. When attaching me to an email, he’d used all caps!!! How disrespectful to a client! After several nasty conversations with him, I had reached my patience with the disrespect. I decided that I didn’t want him to represent me, apparently he talked to Mr. Larry king concerning my request to have him removed from my case.
Mr. King contacted me to inform me that he was taking over my case with subtle insults. I thought things would get better after Mr. King took my case, little did I know, it would get worse! Bethany was assigned to assist whenever she was there! I would email, call or text her with updated information, something that she should have done! I knew I was up a creek without a paddle!! I worked my case primarily!
Worker Comp’s supervisor called me yesterday to inform me of my appointment from a selection panel doctor, she asked me if my attorney had called me and I was embarrassed to say no!
I decided to express my highest dissatisfaction with this law firm as a result, I received several calls from the King-Simmons’ Law Firm and Mr King let me have it!
Mr. Larry King contacted me yesterday with a condescending tone after I left an email and voice message of my displeasure of their representation. Larry King decided that he and I like a married couple need to part ways he sent me a letter via email recusing the firm from my case.
In my opinion, this is very orthodox behavior of a law firm the way they treated me! Held me out for seven months! I’m in the process of searching for an attorney who will take my case. I will report them to the bar association for poor performance and conduct.

My insurance company just settled with one of their clients. It is hard to believe that these attorneys have zero regard for the businesses and families they attempt to destroy daily. They did not call me once, and they instruct their clients to not work things out with their former employers. Our insurance company just settles the case out of court and the business has no say so in what happens. Our rates just go through the roof and make life much more difficult for our business and our community. I wish these people would find something productive to do with their lives like farm, build something beautiful, or teach children rather than just being a drag on society.

I have used King Simmons, P.C. twice and both times they were able to negotiate a higher settlement than the other side offered initially. Everything was completed by telephone, text, and email. Everyone was kind and helpful. They treated me like I was their only client. I hope I never need another attorney. If I do, I will give them a call.

I guess these people help who they want to help. This law firm will have you homeless, starving, living in poverty, and on the verge of a nervous breakdown or worse. They are lazy and blames everything on workman’s comp because they don’t want to properly do their job. I have only been provided with excuse on top of excuse. I’ve been as patient as I can be. DeVany told me that there is nothing she can do to help me, but wants to be paid for doing absolutely nothing. It’s pitiful and sad that they leave their client to die with no answers! I have been living a nightmare since I started dealing with this law firm. Very unacceptable! They expect you to wait wait wait until someone feels like helping you with what you’re already entitled to that’s weird and crazy to me. Time is not in my favor I just can’t keep waiting for nothing. I need results it’s already been almost 2 years and they’ve done absolutely nothing but made sure that my doctors were paid forget about me and my suffering. They don’t care because they are not in pain from a job injury and they will be paid regardless! I could be wrong, but I think that they work for workman’s comp. There’s definitely something fishy about them.

My experience with King Simmons, PC and specifically with Karen Berhow, ESQ. and her Personal Assistant Abigail was very special to me.
Not quite sure why because, "I was a little fish in a big sea." Meaning the amount of the services was not a windfall for this law firm. But the professionalism, kindness, support and patience they accorded me was worth a million dollars.
No detail was overlooked. Right from the start every aspect of my case was investigated and I was given options to explore based on legal and professional terms.
I was humbled and grateful they afforded me the time and effort to fight for me.
I really hope I won't need their services again but I would not hesitate to recommend their professional services to anyone.
