As I read through all the negative comments, I see most of them are defamatory with no basis. They are all based on hurt feelings
Grow up. I have been a client of this law firm now for around 6 years and I would know what i would have done without her. My wife is from laos. Most lawyers only do Mexico visa's. She is open to any visa anywhere in the world. She has done a wonderful job representing me and I am proud to recommend her to anyone that has immigration issues!! On a side note I can't believe someone would leave a bad review when they didn't pay for services.. what a dead beat!!

DO NOT GO TO HER. I'm warning you. she made us believe that the case is a piece of cake for her and that we have enough evidence but it was all phony not real. she was poorly prepared for the hearing and made a fool of herself in court. she forgot details about my case and I kept reminding her of them during the hearing. she even forgot my husband's name and called him my fiancee during the hearing !!!! She hid evidence from my opponent and I was surprised during the hearing that they had so many exhibits that I had no idea about. I was basically all by myself and she did not defend me. I would have highly appreciated it if she was honest and said that she doesn't want to take the case. DO NOT GO TO HER.

Word of advice: Go to another lawyer if she’s not questioning you like the opposing lawyer, digging for more info, or asking for more evidence to strengthen your case—and instead just feeds you happy talk like ‘I’ve been doing this a long time,’ ‘We’re going to win,’ or ‘They have a losing side.’

She didn’t tell us about a key statute we needed to follow and missed a huge error in our interrogatories. She didn't spot it even after we asked her if everything looks good with them. She was over a month late in sending us the opposing side's interrogatories. We stuck with her because her confidence made us think we’d win, despite feeling she wasn’t helping. We hired her to guide us—non-lawyers—through the process, but she failed and left us totally unprepared. Save yourself the trouble.

I had a consultation scheduled for 2 weeks. I was supposed to call and initiate the phone consultation. So I called, the desk lady said she would let the attorney know I was calling for my appointment. And I never heard anything back from them. So I called again and told them exactly that. I was told I would get a call back, again. And again, I heard nothing back. Do not recommend them because they do not take potential clients seriously.

I don't consider Kathryn just a lawyer, but also a friend. In so many ways she has become like family. I've hired her on two separate occasions, once for my wife's immigration and second during a custody battle. Not only is Kathryn knowledgeable and articulate, she has the ability to explain things in a way that is empathetic and reassuring to your situation. But don't be fooled by this kindhearted woman, she has the tenacity and grit to stand toe to toe with any lawyer. Even if somebody is being dishonest, she has a way of making the truth evident to the court. You can't go wrong with Kathryn, she'll represent you to the finest of her ability or anyone else's for that matter.

Make sure you keep record of all the dates and times she actually works because she will miss your court dates and then charge you for them. And if she does show up instead of paying attention in court you’ll be whispering to her reminding her who you are and why you’re there the entire time because she’s never prepared. Don’t bother contacting her by email because she rarely responds. Honestly I could have stood up and defended myself better than her. She will tell you that you don’t need to go to court and then not show up herself. She won’t defend you when you’re not there or remember important details about your case. I told her what I wanted and she settled for less & didn’t fight for my child. I walked passed her in the hallway outside court and said hi and she didn’t recognize me or stop walking after over 2 years of representation.
