I had a free consult with Mr.Connor in regards to retaining him for a divorce matter. Mr.Connor was rude and cut me off several times while answer HIS QUESTIONS. I would say two words and he would condescendingly talk over me saying “I understand that I understand that” trying to shut me up. I didn’t feel like he was trying to help at all. He spent 10 minutes of our 30 minute conversation telling me to speak directly to my ex husband after very clearly explaining to him that I have a restraining order and was not going to do that. Repeatedly told me “well sounds like the easiest option to me” LEGALLY I cannot even reach out to him, so for him to suggest that is extremely concerning as a lawyer. If someone were to take his advice, they would be in violation of the protective order. At the end of the call, he didn’t even tell me what he planned to do or ask me if I’d be interested in moving forward. He said “you’ll receive an email to retain me with my prices.” And literally hung up on me. Extremely rude and unprofessional, save your time and skip the consult. I was desperately seeking help with my matter with money in hand and he completely blew it. If that’s how he treats people during a consult, I can’t imagine how he treats them while being retained.
