I’ve been using Jim’s Automotive Specialties as my go-to mechanic for four years. Jim and his crew are honest mechanics who will discuss with you what work your car needs to have done in detail. Excellent experience and will return. I have been looking for several years for a local shop I feel comfortable with and my first visit with Jim's could not have been smoother. Quick turnaround on getting the car on the rack for a lookover in addition to oil change and tire rotation. Prompt call and explanation of issues, what was needed right away (nothing), and work that would provide an optimal service call but not urgent. Prices very reasonable. I felt so comfortable and reassured with the prompt attention given to me. Basically at last minute. Jim was thorough and concerned. He changed the oil as needed. And applied the sticker as a reminder to me ( I really don’t trust the engine, warning lights all the time I want to make the decision myself To change the oil, I don’t wanna wait until 5000 miles!!!! But he checked my air
filters because we just weren’t sure when they were changed. Good thing. They were clogged and blacker than dirt itself!
So obviously, I am totally comfortable with taking my car back there on a regular basis.

These men that work here are unprofessional. The one named Mark, is very smart mouthed and this attitude can keep customers away. Whoever Jim is, he ought to address this with all the men, so that he can keep his business. Will not go there again.
