Jim to update the estate plan that he created for us a few years ago. We first met Jim when he taught the estate planning portion of a two-day retirement planning seminar. I had no interest at all in estate planning, at that time, but Jim got to realize how important it is. Eventually we hired Jim to create a full package (trusts, will, POA, medical directive) along with other ancillary documents important to the entire process. My wife and I created separate trusts. Our initial estate planning was complicated but Jim handled things so well that when it came time to make updates, we went back to Jim. This time, we were under a hard deadline. Jim went above and beyond to get things changed in time. Resulting in a weekend signing (where Jim brought both the witnesses and the donuts) In the end we got our fully restated trusts and the peace of mind that comes with it.

My wife and I have a mixed family and certain specific requirements about who would/would not have access to certain assets, so we had a rather complex case. Jim was great in explaining the entire process to us, understanding our personal needs and recommending options based on these, and creating very detailed documents that left no stone unturned.
