I'm sad for not reviewing Hjerpe & Tennison sooner. Spent years having no clue on how much money my business was making, whether or not it was turning a profit, how much we owed in taxes, etc. I used many different CPAs & bookkeepers and they didn't return phone calls, didn't answer emails...I always felt like a burden to them and never had any idea how I was doing financially. Spoiler alert: Wasn't doing well. Was referred to Brett Tennison by a colleague and he was the 1st CPA in 10 years who explained things in English to me. I know how to take care of clients. I didn't know how to manage expenses and cash flow is critical for keeping a business going. Brett told me what I was doing right and where my numbers were not in line. I love what I do for a living. Love the work. Love our clients. Love how we support the community. Can't do any of this if we can't pay the bills. Hjerpe & Tennison takes care of us so we can take care of others. Only regret I have is that I didn't sign on with them 10 years sooner.

My experience with this company mainly as a referral with Eric Carillo which quickly quit after taking me on and not letting me know to the transition Brett Tennison has been a nightmare. I asked for one thing and received the complete opposite. Since I made a payment I have heard from no one. Complete rip off. The warning sign is when people where quitting.

I have worked with many of the employees over the 10+ years I have been with this business and have to say they will be getting a special office Christmas gift this year! (For the second time) Went thru a lot in the past years including an audit back in 2014 and Eric Hjerpe took care of it as not just my tax rep but as my attorney. Nell, Jennifer and the whole team have been so professional and prompt with their service. I am a lifetime client!
