We started our journey with Harold Shepley and Associates almost four years ago. It was a very difficult time as I had just received a notice of being sued by a credit card company. I was also going through a very difficult time in my family. When I searched for lawyers to help me and I found Harold Shepley and Associates, I won’t lie...I doubted their existence. I mean, I google mapped their address and everything! I looked them up on every site possible. It was hard to believe that you could handle all of the paperwork and all without ever stepping foot into their office. Well, we have officially finished our debt consolidation as of two days ago and I could not be any happier!!! They were so helpful and understanding from the very beginning. Anytime we had a question, they were quick to respond. They called us every time a settlement was reached and if you emailed them, they responded right away. The price was unbeatable as well! We had a decent amount of debt to be settled and they told us that it would take about four years to settle...and here we are, about 5 months shy of four years and way better off than when we began. Thank you so much Harold Shepley and Associates for everything you have done for our family! For anyone considering them, don’t waste another second, do it!!

I was contacted by an agent today and she definitely left me feeling way worse than I originally felt about my case. I contacted shepley because I was sent a letter portraying themselves as a viable option. But after talking with the agent today, I was told “your case is not beneficial to us because it’s not enough money and we would only take your case if you combined all your debt”. She talked over me the entire conversation. Then she proceeded to rub salt in the wound and tell me over and over she couldn’t help me and to get myself in a better situation financially before I tried calling them again. Which I thought I was calling someone to help with said financial issues. When in reality this was clearly never gonna be a legitimate option for me.

No one likes to admit they have debt issues. But the staff at Shepley and Assoc never made us feel bad about our situation. They explained everything in great detail and helped every step of the way. In the four years we were in the program we learned to live within our means and only buy/spend what we could afford. It’s a great, liberating feeling.

My husband became disabled and could no longer work, which made paying off debt we accumulated very difficult due to the loss in income. We tried a debt management program, which reduced our monthly payments a little bit, but we ended up getting credit cards to get through until it was paid off. We then re-enrolled into the debt management again to pay off those credit cards, and it was a vicious cycle where we ended up accumulating more credit cards again (to cover things like vehicle repairs, major appliances, etc.). We enrolled in the debt settlement program with Harold Shepley and we're now debt free! All of the staff were very professional and the program was much more affordable.
