I would encourage their office working on more consistent communication via email. There were several times that communication and updates were a barrier to me understanding the process and progress of my case. That being said, I fully acknowledge that I am unaware of the background efforts and what's taking place behind the scenes so that comment comes with a grain of salt. Aside from that, I personally think the service I received was great from both Ben (attorney) and Dulce (paralegal). Ben Dow is a great lawyer and he let's you know what can be done and gives great advice. Ben also values your opinion and stance so regardless of his feedback, if you don't take his advice within reason, he's still going to back you in your decision and make sure you know the risks of what you may decide to go with. As for Dulce Valencia, she was great and was pretty good at getting back to me whenever I had a question and/or left a voice mail. Overall, I would definitely recommend them both as long as you can just be patient and considerate, which I know is easier said than done. However, regardless of the attorney you retain, you will need to be patient and considerate due to the process itself, so having Ben and Dulce on your side is a great foundation for a solid argument and case.

The morning we were to sign the documents following an email from me, Ben called and spent some time answering all our questions. He then made the updates we requested. Wasted 7 months of our time. Carmen. Blanco is a horrible paralegal who did not do her job correctly and did not communicate with her superiors. She told us to pay 2300 in one junction to help our case move forward. Never communicated, called, or informed the actual attorney until I was served with 2 weeks notice to pay rent. To basically get told by the attorney that i couldn’t even file for bankruptcy to help save my mobile home. Horrible experience. Horrible communication on the staff. Lost my home due to this company not doing their jobs correctly. Overheard even others complain why they had to constantly call or come in person to even get any help or updates. They do not even respond to emails or even phone calls sometimes. She will greet you with a “Ok” or “I’m good” not even being polite back. Personally missing work, 1 hour commute, to get any updates. Wouldn’t even email or call to say they needed extra forms, constantly needed to commute to even know if they needed more forms. Not to mention how you could see literal costumers social security’s copies on the counter. I could’ve tried to find other possible ways to save my home instead of waiting believing it would work out. Don’t know how they ever got voted best bankruptcy firm.
