I've contemplated this review for quite some time and still haven't figured out how to put my thanks to Thom Goolsby into words. During one of the most tumultuous and terrifying times in my life, I reached out to Thom for guidance and I'm so glad that I did. For over a year, I had the pleasure of working with Mr.Goolsby and found him to be an extremely empathetic, hard-working, honest and straightforward lawyer and man. Finding yourself in trouble with the law is humiliating enough - don't make a fool of yourself and hire the "competition". A good lawyer is worth their weight in gold - Thom Goolsby is a GREAT lawyer and his services are priceless.

The most incompetent attorney I have ever dealt with. He does not know the law, suborned perjury, charged thousands of dollars for services not rendered, and failed to protect the constitutional rights of client. He blatantly lied to client and court. He behaved in an unconsciousable manner and has no conscious about his incompetence and lack of knowledge of the law destroying client’s lives. Apparently he is part of the “good old boy” network and feels he is untouchable. I would not be surprised to find that his high ratings have been made by friends, not clients, as many attorneys in Wilmington rate him as one of the worst defense attorneys in Wilmington who should be avoided like the plague. Public defenders are more knowledgeable and competent. His greatest asset is playing the political game. He should have been disbarred long ago. He tries to present as a sheep but is a goat with no redeeming qualities.
