I needed to update my estate plan from simple documents prepared from an online kit a decade ago. Loren Eddy was recommended to me by a friend, and I scheduled an appointment. We met after he had reviewed my plans and suggested some changes to simplify the disposition of my assets when the time comes. The estate planning documents and a plan summery were prepared for my review. My few questions were answered with no changes required. We met the next week to sign all of the documents. I am a DIY in most things including taxes and real estate transactions. I considered using a ‘free will’ tool online but visited with Mr. Eddy on the advice of a friend. Thank goodness! There were many pitfalls in my beneficiary plans that he steered me clear of including tax issues. For a very reasonable fee I can know feel solid about what I leave behind.
