In August of 2015 I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that involved the loss of operation of my dominant arm, as well as a traumatic brain injury. My parents had contacted Effres and associates (they were referred to them by another lawyer for another injury to a relative) and they drove from Agoura Hills down to Pasadena immediately, surveyed the accident scene, and then arrived at the hospital. Over the next two and a half years, Justin Effres and his father Steven Effres, relentlessly pursued this case for me, even when at one point it seemed like there wasn't much that could be done to resolve the situation. I had to go through the typical trial stuff such as meetings, deposition, medical appointments for Effres' firm and for the defense, but Effres did all that he could to make everything doable and smooth as possible for me. My perception of lawyers was certainly changed for the better after working with Justin and his dad, because of their genuine sincerity. They were always available and fully knowledgeable of the questions that my family and I had for them. I was in the middle of a three-car pile-up. I hit my head and was knocked out and taken to the ER, my car was totaled, and I ended up with a concussion, back issues, and no car. A friend of mine gave me advice to get a lawyer. I read reviews, did some research, and picked Effres and Associates and I'm so glad I did. I worked with Justin Effres who was amazing. I am not someone who likes to deal with anything legal, well, who does, and with Justin, he made it so easy and handled everything. Truly, he made what could have been a horrible experience not that bad. All my medical was covered and he was able to get me the funds I needed to buy a new car, without any payments which was a big deal for me. I work in non-profit and my car had been paid off for some time and taking on a car payment right now just wasn't feasible.

Justin did a great job, he got me a fair settlement which is exactly what I wanted and made it painless (unlike the car accident). The staff at Effres & Associates were top notch all the way. Everyone was kind and generous and supportive. I can't thank them all enough for the great job they did for me and protecting me.
