The worst experience ever. The staff are rude and disrespectful. They refused to scheduled an appointment for a new member because he did not have a working phone at the moment. Linda advised me that “she was not taking up space if she couldn’t confirm the appointment by phone with the member “ I was astonished with her attitude and tone. Dr. SCHMIDT is the best PCP I ever had. He goes straight to the point. Helped me earlier this year in getting a continuos blood glucose monitor. That made a big difference in my diabetes treatment. His office has very competent ladies that always do what ever they can to help and accommodate my needs. Also is conveniently close to my house.

I have been seeing Dr Schmidt for 10 years; he doesn't candy coat his treatment and advise. I was a brand new patient coming in for facial pain which I was told was TMJ; after he took a family history and doing an ekg come to find out it was a cardiac issue and I was taken by ambulance to NBMC where I had 2 stents implanted. I work in a doctors office too where I find most patients think that you are suppose to do everything for the patient; doctors and office staff can only do so much; it's up to the patients to take an active part in their healtcare. Dr Schmidt is a REAL DOCTOR

My father has been a patient of Dr. Schmitt’s for over 10 years, and the level of neglect in his care has left me furious. Recently, my father was hospitalized after a stroke and diagnosed with severe heart disease, including an 100% blocked coronary arteries and dangerously high cholesterol—conditions that require emergency surgery, multiple bypasses, and a carotid artery repairs.

To make matters worse, after reviewing my father’s medical records, I discovered that Dr. Schmitt had known about his high cholesterol levels for years but never prescribed a statin or any medication to control it. The specialists currently caring for him are appalled by Dr. Schmitt’s blatant disregard for such a serious health issue. Their words echo my own outrage: preventive care could have drastically changed my father’s situation.

Dr. Schmitt’s negligence has placed my father in critical condition, and I am disgusted. Anyone considering Dr. Schmitt as a primary care doctor should think twice. No patient deserves this kind of disregard. Please stay far away from this office, your life depends on it.

I really wish I had read reviews before deciding to make this hell of a practice my PCP. Outside of the nonchalant demeanor of the doctor and the rude incompetent front desk staff I am completely dissatisfied with the level of service that is provided especially to new patients. I will be reaching out to my insurance to insist they are removed as an option. No one should have to deal with being berated by the staff. On top of the fact that you’ll receive an 9:15 appointment and the doctor rolls on at 9:13 with Dunkin’ Donuts and as of 10:00 I still haven’t been seen. There’s no regard for my time or health here.

I have generally had good experiences here , the only problem is that I recently called for an appointment and was told I couldn’t be seen for two months. This indicates to me that the office has accepted too many patients.

Today was the absolute worst treatment I have ever recived by anyone in any business environment.
Dr.Schmidt's office manager/clerk Natalie. is not only curt and impolite over the phone but takes personal insult if you question anything she says. She becomes extremely vicious and incredible disrespectful. Think pitbull with a hair bun!
My deductible is $900 of which I've already met per my insurance provider. Natalie told me that my deductible was $1800 and that my coinsurance hadn't kicked in yet. She printed out my policy that showed a family deductible of 1800. I don't have family members on my policy. However, further down it show my individual deductible of $900 dollars...and that it had already been met. when I tried to show that to her ( on the very same document she handed me) she refused to look at it. then later took the document from me and ripped it in four pieces and threw it down on the table saying "have a nice day" " God Bless You" Using the Lords name like a curse! Unbelievable!!
I had my insurance company called her directly.( after several attempts) she was rude and dismissive to them as well!
Called in later and asked her for an apology. She told me she had nothing to apologize for and that ..I had it coming. unprofessional..PERIOD!!!
