I had an appointment with Dr Giraldo on the 21st of Jan. I was afraid because of reviews here were so harsh. I was pleasantly surprised. I found Dr Giraldo to be kind, empathetic, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to do for my pain after he reviewed my past medical history as it was related to my pain needs. Dr Giraldo took time to review my history with me, he took time to explain what I needed and how it is done..I felt comfortable with this Dr. If you just want pain pills don't waste the Dr's time .. but if you really want help for pain.. please see this Dr ..

I went to Dr Giraldo for back pain that had migrated to my groin as well. Dr Giraldo referred me to another Dr for my groin pain and to physical therapy. He did not request x-rays or mri. I went to Baptist Hospital next, their Dr ordered x-rays and mri. I have a fracture in my spinal column and should not have been doing physical therapy without that knowledge. I'm glad I went to Baptist. Dr Giraldo is the worst!!!

This doctor and the way he operates is a complete waste of my time. You will be subject to very painful unsedated horrible and useless treatments and then thrown to the curb like an animal. I do not recommend this dr at all. The way he operates is archaic. This is my first horrible experience at the Cleveland clinic.

I am very pleased of having Dr Juan Giraldo as my pain management doctor. He started treating the origins of my low back pain almost a year ago. I started after my neurologist Dr Daniel Grobman issued a referral to see him. He started with two nerve blocking procedures bilaterally of my facet joints at L3, L4, and L5, from which he determined that the origin of my low back pain was arthritis in the facet joints. At last he made a Radio frequency Ablation to achieve a denervation of these facet joints. This procedure took almost two hours, from which most of the procedure was invested in finding the correct positioning of the needles in order to avoid damaging other nerves, mainly legs’ and feet's.
Dr. Gilraldo’s skills and concentration in doing a good job was key in the success of the ablation which targeted with precision only the facet nerves. Now I am totally free of low back pain. I know that these nerves will regrow eventually and that I will have to go through this procedure again within 6 and 24 months from now. So I am blessed of having met Dr. Giraldo, and I am very grateful to him.

Dr Juan Giraldo is arrogant and condescending to start with! Additionally, the pharmacy has been waiting for 24 hours for a prescription approval on a drug that a senior in chronic pain needs on Saturday. First bad experience at Cleveland Clinic! He’s not a good representative of the quality care the rest of the hospital provides.

Dr. Girlado was very straightforward and frank. But he was also precise in helping me find the correct doctor to go to for my condition. I am forever grateful to him for pointing me in the right direction and telling me what I needed to do. He wasn't able to treat me himself, but he was a guidepost in a long and challenging journey and he got me to the right doctor. I also found him compassionate and caring.

I had an excellent visit with Dr Giraldo, very thorough and very helpful.
I want to thank this opportunity meeting him, he sure gave me all options that may help me in the near future.
I suffer from Allodynia and have a stimulator DRG for what I suffer.
I was referred by Abbott by my representative Dr. Assad.
Dr. Giraldo is very courteous and self explanatory, he took all the time needed so I can understand my options.

He is an interventional pain management doctor and provides other methods of relief, but for those already in medicinal pain management, they're not the same...

Writing scripts isn't his practice, so why downgrade him when he has chosen to do something unusual for his office and writes them?

He was nice and straightforward and provided a good recommendation for a medical pain management doctor within my network by chance alone
