I was very impressed with the team at Disability Planning Partners during our initial interactions involving my mothers estate. I am not in Connecticut and Ms. Englisby met with me online for our detailed and lengthy conversation after which I paid my retainer deposit.

When I reached back out to retain the Ms. Englisby a couple of weeks later, I was surprised that her admin said that Claudia did not know why I wanted to retain her. "She just needs to know a little more about why you want her services". We had just met for an hour discussing very specific and pertinent information regarding my mother's care facilities, her home sale proceeds, and my desire to protect her assets. I was underwhelmed at the response and told her that I would not be moving forward with their firm if they were not clear on what we had discussed just two weeks prior.

Getting care for a parent in later life should not be as difficult as it has been with care facilities, rehabs, insurance companies, and don't get me started on Vanguard- but I had hoped for better from Disability Planning Partners. I thought we had found the answer but we have not.
