I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Hannah K. Durrett regarding my trademark application. As someone whose privacy and security are critical due to the nature of my work, I made it explicitly clear that my real legal name could not be linked to my stage name in any public records. Despite this, she failed to take the necessary precautions and my full government name is now easily searchable online, exposing me to serious risks.

When I confronted her about it, she deflected responsibility, claiming that the liability waiver was buried in hundreds of pages of paperwork she rushed me through. That is NOT acceptable—especially when dealing with sensitive clients who depend on their attorney to safeguard their privacy. A competent and ethical attorney should proactively flag potential privacy risks, not hide behind fine print after making a major mistake.

Because of this negligence, a few individuals with stalkerish tendencies now have access to my full name, which is incredibly dangerous in my line of work. I am now dealing with the stress and consequences of something that could have been completely avoided had she taken my concerns seriously.

If you value your privacy, stay far away from this attorney. She is careless, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for her actions. I wouldn’t trust her with anything sensitive or high-risk.
