Do you want real help with a caring & compassionate therapist who challenges you to grow? Then GO see her! She is very professional & provides a safe/comfortable & non-judgmental environment. I’ve had multiple sessions entering her office upset, stressed, and overwhelmed. But I’ve never left her office feeling the same way. I’ve been to many therapists (6 to be exact) and no one was able to help me through chronic/complex trauma, and current situations like she has/does. She has given me tools/skills that has helped me to grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and professionally. I love the insight, professionalism, great listening skills, and PURE compassion. Her vibes are always positive, and she has never made me feel uncomfortable. I’m grateful that I have found a place where I feel comfortable to cry, laugh, and receive deep/professional insight on my issues. I’m lucky to have found such a GREAT therapists. Each session it worth every penny (but there is no amount of money that can pay her for what she has done for me). I’ve came to her with a load of issues, and with every session my load is becoming very light. Freedom is around the corner, and she is helping me to achieve that. ✌🏽.

I saw Candyce a total of three sessions. She's straightforward and gives solid advice, I admired her as someone clearly intelligent and likely a great therapist for some. After our first two sessions, she cancelled very suddenly an hour before my appointment. The next week she cancelled again. She likely had some personal stuff going on so I was very understanding and patient, she told me she wouldn't be able to see me for the next few weeks and I waited. At our final appointment, I told her I struggled opening up and found it hard to connect with my therapists as an autistic person. I wanted to address issues that I had in previous relationships but didn't know how to do that or guide the conversation, hence seeking the help of a professional. Her tone in this session had completely changed. She acted rude and annoyed with me, asking several questions implying I was dishonest. She asked, "How do you just expect people to know to ask you (certain) questions?" after telling her I needed prompting as an autistic person to share about certain topics. Very antagonistic and belittling. I was clearly uncomfortable and felt very judged by her. After twenty minutes, she told me she could not treat me and sent me home. I sought treatment from her because I matched with a lot of what’s listed on her website (PTSD, relational issues, mood disorders, personality disorders, etc) but she seemed ill equipped to help with the things she specializes in. If you’re an autistic or anxious adult I wouldn’t suggest Candyce as a safe therapist to seek treatment from. I really believe Candyce is a good therapist and compassionate to some, but that wasn't my experience with her at all.

Candyce is a colleague of mine that I have had the pleasure of knowing for a few years now. I highly recommend her for counseling and mediation. You can count on her to offer you direct feedback in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. She has exceptional clinical skills and is ethically solid. She is trustworthy, and I feel comfortable referring clients to be under her care.
