I was traveling to a funeral in a nearby community and they kindly accommodated a noon check in. The desk clerk, Ashley, was so warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect, from the accommodation, to the comfort of the room. The room itself was one of the prettiest courtyard rooms I’ve ever seen. I took a picture when I walked in, because the crêpe myrtles outside the balcony were blooming in the afternoon, and it made such a pretty contrast. The color doesn’t show up as well in my photograph, but trust me it was very nice. They have obviously worked hard to make this courtyard, which is right off of I10, feel cozy and leafy-country, and I will look forward to staying there again the next time I am in Tallahassee.

This is the best hotel I've encountered in Tallahassee in the competitive mid budget price range. I've stayed in four rooms and only two of which had a musty AC unit. I do advise checking the room before paying for it with all hotels because some have no showers while others have older baths with a dip that leads to standing water after a shower. Nevertheless, the staff are super helpful and most importantly the rooms and common spaces are super clean. I think their central AC must have a UVC light in it or something because the air is fresher than any other hotel I've encountered in my life.

I’m here now and the everything is awesome except the pool. This is Florida, and I’m coming from Central Florida, so I was hoping for some pool time…its an indoor pool, which is fine because I lived in Tallahassee for 7 years and it does actually snow here every couple years. However, the pool is chilly and the air inside the pool enclosure was 74 degrees. This might sound amazing to some northerners, but it also gets very hot in Tallahassee and when you come in from 90 degree weather, the pool is disappointing.

Otherwise, the facilities are amazing.

And as someone who managed employees in this town for 7 years and realize how hard it is to find a few good employees here and there, the entire staff has been super pleasant and helpful!

Had a last-minute booking at a great price. Rooms were very nice and pet-friendly. Thought a group of kids were gonna make so much noise, but they were very quiet and well behaved. Wish we could have stayed longer and hit up the indoor pool.

Positive: The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The young ladies at the restaurant were awesome (Dinner / Breakfast) ! Great service with a smile. The front desk clerk was always friendly/helpful. Laundry facilities definite plus! Negative: The rooms are clean and older but well-maintained. The fitness room could use updated equipment.

We brought 2 Coach Buses of students and instructors from Carrollwood Day School in Tampa to tour FSU campus. They went to the Hangar 38 to have dinner and play games. They stayed here overnight before heading to UF the following morning. Great landscaping.
The showers could use a little more pressure and the beds could be a little bit more comfortable.
The location was perfect because it was very close to I-10 to get us on our way to Gainesville.

Just as good as last time. Kelly at the front desk welcomed us warmly and did a great job explaining all the details. This place is well- maintained, well lit, clean and renovated to a high standard. Really believe this continues to be the best hotel in Tally for visiting your college kid. Thanks, Kelly. It always helps to start a visit off with a smile and a genuinely appreciative front desk member.

Very disappointed with this one night stay. Person in neighboring room was playing annoying noise very loudly and on a loop. I tried resolving through front desk, and they did call the room and ask for the sound to be turned down. It did not get noticeably better. I followed up, but they said there was nothing else they could do. I finally gave up on sleeping there, and checked out in the wee hours of the morning. It was a reward night, and I asked on check out if they could do something for me since I did not get any rest. I was told they would talk to the manager in the morning, who would probably put some points into my Bonvoy account to compensate. I have not seen anything yet. There were some other minor issues with room. I don't plan to stay here again.

I’ve always liked Marriott hotels because they are clean, comfortable, and private. I value privacy a lot, but this stay didn’t feel private at all. I was there for two nights. The first night, the guests in the room next to us had their TV on, and I could clearly hear it. At first, I thought it was just because they had the volume too high. The second night, someone else stayed in that room, and we could hear their entire conversation, their laughter and everything. It made me feel very uncomfortable, because if I could hear them, that means they could hear me too. The walls felt like paper, which is not what I expect from Marriott.

Customer service was fine, they worked with us to provide a late checkout, but that was really the only positive. Overall, it wasn’t a comfortable or private stay.

I have tried most hotels in the area and this is by far the best. Customer service is excellent. Ashley works the front desk and has been extremely helpful since the first day I arrived and requested an early check in. She always greets me, makes sure I have what I need, goes above and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable.

Rooms are immaculate, clean, housekeeping is helpful but doesn’t come in when you have your dnd on (some still enter at other hotels), and the guy who works nights is always helpful with my random requests at random hours of the night.

Best hotel by far in Tallahassee!

The service that I received from Assistant General Manager Jason Carson was a zero. I'm a Marriott member and book stays with hotel anytime I travel. Mr. Carson did not create a positive experience. He didn't go over and beyond for me as a customer. He was also very dismissive. I had to wait in the lobby for over 20 minutes. I went to check in at location with Family Authorization form. It was communicated that the form need to be emailed or printed. I forwarded email several times to Mr. Carson and also gave him my phone to verify email was correct. After waiting roughly 8 minutes I asked could I use lobby printer. I printed form from lobby computer and there was issues with Courtyard's printer. The Manager was dismissive and stated, "it's not my responsibility and the form states customer need to present printed form to Marriott staff." He walked away and stated all he could do is offer a stay for $168 nightly. I waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes. After waiting in the lobby while attempting to contact customer service I asked could he check to company's email. The form finally came through. I am baffled to have experienced bad customer service from a Manager from Courtyard. I understand my check in was roughly 1:20 am however the only solution that was offered was to pay $168. Mr. Carson didn't create a positive experience and neither go over and beyond. Usually staff at Marriott's are friendly and represent the company well. I'm totally disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay here for an event. Loved the indoor pool and it was so peaceful laying out and they have an area to sit outside and enjoy yourself. There is a nice spot to order food, plenty of tables and tv setup to enjoy a movie while sitting in the lobby. We booked the incorrect date and the lady at the desk was so nice. She assisted with making another reservation and got us checked in. I was so tired that I didn’t take pictures but the bed was so comfortable & room was clean.
