Hiring this firm is better than no representation at all but I would think twice in hiring this firm if you have the funds to go elsewhere. This firm has hired lawyers struggling to maintain their good standing with the bar association and then the firm does not disclose that. Anything that could potentially affect a client's case should be disclosed and the firm not disclosing that is unethical. The firm has a poor mechanism for clients to make complaints and to also act on client complaints. The only person you will talk with is an office manager who has no authority to do anything. It's more like they have a person just to hear complaints so the owners of the firm don't have to deal with them. My whole time I hired this firm I felt like I needed to micromanage them. Its not ok for mail from the firm to be sent to the wrong address, for purge orders to be not filed, for clients to get emails and email communications for different clients that have nothing to do with your case, and info needed to be given to court to be not done in a timely manner or not done at all until the client has asked if it's been done. I'm sure the attorney I hired was a kind person and tried as hard as they could but I should have been informed of the situation so I understood how many micromanagings and check ins I needed to do. And the hourly rate for my situation was the same or higher than other legal staffers at the firm. My case had an overall positive outcome but there were errors made. Buyer beware when working with this firm!

I hired John Cook to represent me in a wrongful termination case. Initially, during our consultation, he assured me that my case was solid and outlined plans for moving forward. However, after learning the identity of the opposing attorney, he abruptly backed off my case and failed to produce a demand or take any further action. Throughout the process, my anxiety increased, prompting me to seek information from his office. When I reached out, instead of providing support, he responded by instructing me not to keep calling his office. This lack of professionalism and disregard for my concerns was deeply disappointing.

The nerve to keep sending me a bills for no work performed.

I hired this firm for a wage dispute with my employer. I paid $385 for an initial consultation and it was an impressive show Mr. Krone put on and I was excited to hire the firm on a contingency basis. This would be the last work and responsiveness from Mr. Krone.

Two weeks pass and I follow up with firm to check status with no response. Two more weeks and legal assistant sends me information I had already provided and re-confirmed.

Two more weeks and finally Mr. Krone produces demand of payment letter. It looked as if it was written by first year law student. It was clearly not proofread, as they were grammar mistakes and did not even demand payment from the company nor even listed the amount we were asking for.

I provided my feedback and suggestions and again, Mr. Krone did not respond. So I re-wrote the letter for him and he sent it off.

Two weeks after the deadline we provided the company, I asked Mr. Krone if the company responded. They did 2 weeks prior but he did not let me know and said he did not have the time to read the 2-page response they gave.

I asked if he would follow through with the compliant filing, as it said we would in the letter. He said he would via email and set up a call for the following week and addressed me by the wrong name in the email.

After another no-call, no-show from him, I sent him and Mr. Cook a letter documenting the consistent lack of responsiveness and professionalism.

Without consulting me at all, Mr. Cook said the firm had previously decided they did not want to move forward and withdrew representation despite their representative agreement providing no avenue to do so.

I was only out my consultation and three months of my time. I cannot speak about the quality of service if you are assigned another attorney at the firm, but would recommend looking elsewhere.

The ease of scheduling initial consultation appointment at the office.
Mr. Cook is quite an experienced professional who willingly listens to concerns.
Mr. Cook is courteous, patient, caring, thorough and listens to concerns with undivided attention.
