My wife and I recently used Clare Piro's mediation services to draw up the Separation Agreement for our upcoming divorce. Clare did a terrific job in handling our case. Clare is a seasoned legal pro who is sharp as a tack, and has the right people skills for the job. Divorce mediators must walk a veritable tight-rope between their clients many competing interests. They must remain impartial but they also have to help maintain a level playing field for both participants, AND keep them in the same room (or these days, same video-call) even when they are addressing the more emotionally loaded and contentious topics of their matter.

Clare has the legal expertise to offer thorough guidance at every step. Clare also helps the participants consider both sides, and to think beyond the black & white, all/or nothing positions that can often lead to more emotional pain, and greater legal expense if not resolved in a mutually agreeable fashion. To that point, Clare's fees were reasonable and she is super efficient at keeping the process moving forward, which keeps the billing under control.

If you are reading this review and considering using mediation for a divorce matter, I am a strong proponent of the process and highly recommend mediation over litigation - just too many horror stories of long, difficult, and extremely costly litigated divorce cases out there. If you are looking for a top-notch, highly qualified mediator, look no further than Clare Piro. Clare is an Ace and a good person to have in the room (or on the video call) if you are aiming for a fully-informed, no-stone-left-unturned, and equitable mediation process that results in a positive outcome and all at a reasonable expense. At the very least, do yourself a favor and check out Clare's initial consultation - at no charge, and I think you'll find it informative and you will get to meet Clare and get a sense of who she is, and her approach to the process. We were then able to proceed with confidence and a reassuring degree of foreknowledge about our chosen mediator, and about the process itself.

My soon-to-be ex-wife and myself were in uniform agreement that we arrived at a fair and reasonable settlement and that Clare Piro's mediation services were essential to our ability to successfully negotiate a mutually positive outcome in the least amount of time, with the least amount of stress, and with fees that were modest relative to the high quality and value [to us] of the services rendered.
