I have known Ruth McElroy for 10 years at a professional level. When my marriage was failing, I contacted Ruth, and she advised me as how to prepare for an eventual divorce. Her advice was spot on and prepared me for the unexpected. A few years later, I reached out to Ruth to move forward with a contentious divorce. My ex made 5 times my income. Throughout the process, Ruth was able to ease the financial burden with keen advice. I always deferred to Ruth as I trusted her knowledge and experience. In the end, I won the divorce. Her fees were nominal and fair based on what I gained in the end. Later, my ex took me to court on another issue, and Ruth was valent! We won and he had to pay the court and attorney fees! Now my ex leaves me be. Ruth is kind, compassionate, responsive, and empathic. Her and her team are always available, even to listen to you break down. She does not nickel and dime you at all. Yes, for a good attorney, you will pay some money; however, that is why good attorneys win. I highly recommend Ruth and her team. She always has your best interest at heart. In the end, because of her perseverance, my ex finally said…”give her what she wants to end this.” Thank you Ruth!

Update! So I left my review some time ago for the law firm which Ruth McElroy came from and so I’m transferring it over. Since that time this law firm has been charging me interest rates on my balance. After $25,000.00 and sending a “stand in” attorney only advising me of this change less than 24 business hours before my trial. I am a woman who is divorcing my abusive husband all while trying to fight for my little girl! This.. is how she treats her suffering clients 🙂 they have certainly preceded their reputations. So with each day that Passes they are taking more and more of my little girls settlement. How proud they must be. All I can say is God doesn’t pay debts in money.

Ms.Ruth McElroy was not only my friend's lawyer during her divorce, she is her hero! She was spectacular at helping my friend navigate through an incredibly protracted, acrimonious and emotional divorce. Ms. McElroy was thorough and adept at investigating complex foreign financial holdings, and a multitude of deceitful, nefarious and intimidating tactics used by the plaintiff. Her wry wit cut through any spin and shenanigans, and she was masterful in keeping the line of questioning in the proper legal parameters.
