Park is very well maintained. Pam and George do an amazing job keeping things up and are both very friendly! Most of the sites are very spacious and well shaded too!

I love it. Long-term parking is available for a very reasonable rate.
There is a pier for fishing, which is wheelchair accessible, and there is seating available at the end. There are probably 20 or more fish attractors, so catching fish is good to very good most days. Just be sure to keep your rod anchored.
There are a couple of play areas with swings for the kiddos. There is also a boat ramp with plenty of parking. Also there are a bathhouse and a laundry area. The husband/wife managers are people of excellence who will do anything to help those who need it. Most of the campsites are full hookups with 30 AMP electric. They are also quite spacious for those who like elbow room.

Wonderful place to stay! Managers are very helpful, keep it mowed all the time no high grass or limbs down ever. The Managers are also very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and well kept. I don't know why one review said they were scary because they are not. They must have been talking about some othe park or just watched a horror movie...lol. will stay there each time I pass through and hope they have the same caring and kin. Managers

This park could be awesome, on a lovely lake, lots of mature trees, very quiet, gorgeous sunsets over the lake and pretty cheap. Sites are paved with lots of grass around giving you plenty of room. It is very run down though, bath house is awful, sites are 30amp only, dump station is at the entrance to the park. I get the impression not enough people stay there and it’s run at a loss which is why one half of the park is closed (though you can walk around it). Has a boat launch that’s free even if you don’t stay at the park. Has some seasonal rigs there. We are completely self contained so don’t need the bath house so we would definitely stay again.

Great fishing but the bathrooms are horrible by far the most disgusting bug infested bathrooms I have ever used! I kept my bathroom trips to a minimum and went to the state park for a shower because the mold and mildew in the women's bathroom was beyond cleaning. Stay at the State Park you won't regret it

Well, horrible road coming in from the north. Electrical box is way not up to code. Sewer is just a pvc pipe with no cover sitting above ground. No cover on it. Most people live here full time. It could be beautiful as it is right on a lake. That part is beautiful. Host was very helpful and friendly
