Great little park! We only stayed overnight and didn't get a chance to explore. It was hard to find due to a bridge being closed. Pulled over and asked for directions. Nice couple drove us to the camp which was very nice. Park has 30 &50 amp service. Water hookups but no sewer. Dump station on site. Water pressure was a little disappointing but worked well. There is a shower house on site but we didnt use them. Playground is literally two swings. I didn't use those either and they are in great condition because I didn't!? I highly recommend this clean and quiet campground.

What a lovely waterfall easy to climb, a nice park for children and beautiful trail as a sort of trail of tears memorial. Wish I lived closer, I'd visit all the time!

My grandchildren love to play in the water, see the tadpoles and minnows, and just enjoy being outside.

If looking for a light hike with sights and nature mild enough for a small kids, you can walk up the side of the waterfall right across the road from the visitor center. Also, there's a trail head and parking across the other road from the visitor center by the landscaped garden and creek. Geo caching here isn't ideal for young kids since the clues take you off trail into dangerous areas. Although, they don't let anyone share that fact in the app. There's also a paved trail back by 412 that allows for an easier walk and better geocaching for kids. This trail doesn't have any sights but is very easy since short and paved.

Beware of a so-called contractor called Robert l. Meeks. He's from Cherokee Village and is a well-known crook. I've turned him in to the authorities at Horseshoe Bend Arkansas and if he has a license it's expected to be pulled he does shady work and he's a thief.
