You can't believe everything you read when it comes to negative reviews here. I have hired many attorneys in my life. After having Mr Carmen represent me for a very ugly long divorce battle that took well over two years. I couldn't say enough nice things about Mr Carmen. He is a very good attorney that has been practicing law in this country for decades. I highly recommend Mr Carmen for any civil or criminal case you may have. If you don't have a good experience it's not Mr Carmen it's most definitely you!!! Thanks again Bruce for everything you did for me and my children. 🥰

Horrible lawyer. Do not hire him you will regret it. He acts annoyed to speak with you. Will file motion to continue over and over because he hasn’t even looked at your case. He bills you for his negligence. He is a scam. Charges should be brought against Mr. Carmen for preying on the vulnerable.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bruce is lazy, arrogant, rude and extremly condescending. He is not very knowledgeable about the law and Just takes your money. He always has excuses as to why he has done nothing on your case, but finds a way to steal your money; because he did not work for it.

Don’t hire him. After he took our money and waisted a year on our case, I hired Doug Scovil in the quad city area.

Bruce… give it up and retire. You are not a very good person!

AMAZING ATTORNEY AND GREAT SERVICE! Both Mr. Carmen and Julie responded to all of my concerns and emails extremely fast. My husband had a traffic offense that Mr. Carmen took care of he showed up to court on his behalf and kept in touch with us providing us with fast responses and solutions. I highly recommend their services!

I have put a lot of thought into what I should say in my review of Mr. Carmen and I am at a loss for words on how I can express my experience. In the 9 months Mr. Carmen was the attorney for my dad’s Estate he spoke to me once. I was told to make an appointment and come in to discuss my duties. When I was there he seemed very annoyed that we were bothering him with something so simple. Because I had never done anything like this before, I was hoping for guidance. I wasn’t able to get any information from him and was extremely disappointed. I paid quite a bit of money for his advice and guidance and received nothing from him except his filing of papers to the court. I feel as if the secretary should have been the one getting the payment because she was the only one answering my questions. I wanted to do the best job I could at what role had been given to me and after talking with other professionals I felt there were things that were not properly handled. Please take into consideration my comments before making a decision on what attorney to hire.
