I see the negative reviews here and understand everyone has their own personal experiences, however, I have been extremely pleased after choosing The Brown Law Firm to represent me in my divorce case. Rebecca and Brooke are both very professional, knowledgeable, hard working, and did everything possible to assist me in obtaining a resolution that I am happy with. I received prompt replies to my questions and was guided along the way with their expertise. Rebecca has represented me for the last 3 years, so I would like to believe my word holds some value to those who are searching for a divorce lawyer.

My spouse paid for a divorce over a year ago. He has never spoken to Rebecca directly, and the receptionist does not even forward the messages due to her being ”busy.” She is also very rude and unprofessional on several encounters with her. The divorce case was filed at the beginning of the year 2019, and she was paid in full, and we have had no progress. We will be going to the board. We do not recommend.

I feel so bad for my friend. I used this law firm years ago! Granted I never had to deal with an assistant i got to speak with Rebecca herself. I referred this place to my friend going through a really dramatic divorce she never got to speak with Rebecca she always felt with her assistant which was really kind of rude alot of the time. Would not recommend to anyone she hired a new lawyer and found out it wasn't even sfiled yet! Save your money

I paid before Thanksgiving to file for a divorce. The divorce was never filed so my now ex filed with her attorney. Cost me another 500 dollars because she did not do her job. I ask for my money back and was told no because it was contested. Had she done what I paid her for to start out with it may have not cost me anymore money. I would not recommend using her I done all the foot work and had to have my ex tell me when we was divorced.

Be wise. If you want your divorce to be over and done, get another lawyer. U will never lay eyes on the attorney. You will only see her paralegal. And rarely do they return calls. If you fear for your life in the relationship, and you have shared that with the paralegal, try to hasten the divorce. My son filed late summer of last year. He was found dead Feb 4th face down in shallow water. I'm not saying she killed him, but I'm not ruling it out. Just know that if that divorce isn't final, the person you feared has control over every aspect of if you are buried, what detective reports are shared and in some cases, they can pull the plug. Spend the money and get results.

I paid her $850 for a divorce and custody for my child in March. Since then I have been given multiple court dates that have not been right and have been changed. No call backs and nothing still done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. all u get is lies and stolen money

Rebecca was an excellent Attorney for Me through My divorce, & custody battle. I wasn’t always able to talk to Her directly, but Her assistant was very helpful & knowledgeable. I would recommend Her to anyone!

If no stars was an option I would have chosen that! This place is absolutely horrible. You are never given a direct answer. It's always "let me check on it and call you back." It has been 8 months since the divorce process was initiated. It took 2.5 months to even get the paperwork drawn up to sign and 5.5 months since we both signed. Still has not even been processed. They cant even provide a case number or anything. Dont waste your time with this place if you are expecting a results in a timely manner or even common courtesy.
