Dr Cato was very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. It’s a typical small town country vet, so nothing fancy but it didn’t stop the quality of care. My border collie feels much better after the antibiotics she got for bloody stool. She’s back to her crazy energetic self. Dr Cato even told me about his collies! The price of care was very reasonable, I’ve been to many vets in different states and he’s got the best prices. I’d recommend coming here for an animal check up or emergency.

If you are not taking your pets to Cato your are simply settling for less and paying more. A Man that loves animals as much as we do, and it truly shows. He has saved the lives of many of my pets over the years, when others Vets would refuse to even see them. Dr Cato neutered my large 8 year old male Black Mouth Cur. A week later he had complications and swelling from licking. Dr Cato saw him immediately and fixed him right up with a shot and medication. Dr Cato is a very kind and caring vet and very experienced. His staff is very busy as they see a lot of pets, so they can seem uncaring and short, but they are not - they are just busy. They are very professional. In the mornings their waiting room is clean, but by the end of day it does smell from the days activity. But it is always cleaned by the next day.

I would never bring another animal here again. They pretty much let my dog die from not feeding or watering my baby girl. Staff is very rude, & they don’t care about anything but making money of the days they keep your furry babies. Over 2 weeks for my dog to be fixed & she died 15 days later.

Best Vet around I HAVE been using him for 25 years. Always compassionate and caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Even after hours he will talk with you and get your baby taken care of. He has patients who travel 100's of miles to see him. I am Blessed to have such a good man and vet. Always friendly, helpful, clean. Friend to myself and my fur babies. They love him too. So it's easy to get them to go in. Like a second home.

I called over 40 vets in the Jonesboro area for an emergency with my 11 week old kitten and my issue is she wasn’t an existing patient anywhere yet cause we just got her! She snagged her paw climbing our dogs kennel and broke her foot and it was mangled pretty bad from getting caught but I did my best to wrap it, I didn’t get paid for a few days and they weren’t worried at all about that but from what I described they told me to bring her in asap before 11am and I broke down crying cause I have no earthly idea what it would cost or if she was gonna be okay. The nurse comforted me and reassured me they put animals first always! I dropped everything and drove an hour drive in 20 minutes to get her help. I am so grateful and in tears over their compassion for animals and their owners. I found my new favorite vet and recommend them with the absolute highest praise!

I love dr. Cato. I drove 3 hrs to bring my girl to him. He immediately kept her started iv gave meds. He has been our vet for many years. Even gave me his cell number to check on my dog. He loves animals and does amazing job. Thank you Dr.Cato for trying to save my Molly. I know you did the very best you could. RIP Molly Stevens you are missed..
