We went to consult with Nestor Vicario in 2019 about an adjustment of status for my spouse and he told us that we had about a 3% chance of getting the green card approved. I said I had no trouble paying him and he was very discouraging in demeanor and tried to impress upon me that it was hopeless.

The green card was approved after we hired the law office of Emily Love and we also went to her for the removal on conditions two years later and received a ten year card.

This March my spouse got the ten year green card and immediately self-filed the N-400 citizenship application, which was approved after his interview on the seventh of October.

His naturalization ceremony is scheduled for October 23rd.

Three percent? I didn't agree with Mr. Vicario's assessment and I am glad that I did not. It was not an effortless case, and maybe that had something to do with his "advice", but it was also not the worst case I'm sure, by far.

It's a shame that some people will give up after being told by one "expert" in a nice suit in a Chicago skyscraper that what they want is impossible.

I waited five years to come back and say this.
