I’m very glad she was recommended. She doesn’t sugar coat anything or tell you what you want to hear, and sometimes her blunt truth hurts, but ultimately I wouldn’t want it any other way.
IF she takes your case, she doesn’t have a doubt that she can win. I’ve also heard of other lawyers running up the bill every chance they get with memos, phone calls, filings, but Bonnie’s quite the opposite in that regard as well. I even offered her a bonus at the end of my case because I was so satisfied and she politely declined.
Before she was referred, I had spoken to another lawyer, and when I told him I was going with Bonnie instead, he totally understood—“You know, that’s who I would’ve referred you to as well.”

Ms. Robertson is well worth every cent I paid her. If I ever am in need of legal counsel again, I would hire her. No doubt. My case was a difficult custody battle involving a narcissistic ex-boyfriend, anytime he lied, Ms. Robertson addressed it. It never went unnoticed. Throughout the time working with Ms. Robertson, she always made me feel heard. Which I appreciated very much, because I hadn't felt that way previously. Anytime I had questions or concerns, she advised me in a timely manner, and helped me tremendously through the stress of upcoming trial. She is incredibly professional, and pays close attention to details. Because of the help from Ms. Robertson I now have joint custody of my son.

Bonnie was absolutely amazing. We knew going into this, it would be a different and possibly complex case. Which it turned out to be exactly that. Bonnie had a game plan from day one during the consultation. She was up front about everything, definitely has the child’s best interest at heart. Explained the process and game plan she had. I spoke with a few other lawyers before I spoke with Bonnie, after speaking with her, my decision was made. During the consultation she seemed very knowledgeable with the law. Seemed like she cared about my child and what was best for my child. She has a flat fee, and what sold me the most was her demeanor. She seemed to genuinely care. Care about me, about the situation, about my child. I didn’t feel like just another case for her. For the first time in a while, I felt hope. And it remained that way thru the entire ordeal. Bonnie and her staff was always prompt to reply to emails and phone calls. I never got the run around. They always kept me in the loop with everything pertaining to the case. When the case took a turn or didn’t go in our favor. Bonnie had a back up plan and a back up plan after that back up plan. She was always thinking ahead, always two steps ahead. Always included me in on what was going and how we needed to proceed. She was very patient with me thru the whole ordeal. She told me once, “relax, it’s going to be okay. Whatever happens, I will keep fighting for you.” And it all paid off. It was a win. I may have had my doubts thru the case, but Bonnie never did. I don’t think she knows how to lose. I went and had a consultation with Mrs. Robertson today. She was very professional, easy to talk to, articulate, knowledgeable, and informative.
