Bellevue Fingerprinting Service - Bothell, Washington

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Bellevue Fingerprint office located in Bothell. My experience has been far from satisfactory, and I believe it is important to bring it to your attention.

Over the past two days, I have encountered numerous issues that have left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the service provided. Firstly, the staff, particularly the individual responsible for assisting me with fingerprinting, did not exhibit a level of professionalism one would expect. The explanations provided were unclear, and the overall experience was quite frustrating.

Moreover, after diligently uploading my passport and driving ID as requested, I was surprised to be asked to present them again during my visit. ( I gave her my ID but my passport after I upload I have in my phone as electronic passport) . But she refuse to see , This duplication of efforts not only caused unnecessary inconvenience but also raises concerns about the efficiency and organization of the process.

Technician was super nice and efficient, BUT didn't sign my card. Since it was sealed immediately after, I didn't discover the mistake until I tried to drop it off to be submitted. Had to make both trips again, hugely inconvenient. If you go here, make sure they complete all the necessary sections!!

Administrators at my school signed me up for an ink roll appointment, but mistakenly booked it for the Bothell location instead of the Bellevue office (both have the same name and phone number for whatever reason). I realized the error while en route, and--with thirty or so minutes to backtrack north--tried to call, to see whether or not alternative arrangements or a reschedule could be arranged.

First call went out at 11:28 AM, for an 11:45 slot. No answer.
Next call was at 11:33. No answer.
11:40. No answer.
11:43. No answer.
11:46. "The Verizon user you're trying to reach is not available."

I arrived at 11:53--three minutes after the 'five minute grace period'--and was met by the attendant, who informed me that I was running late. I explained the situation and showed her my phone, noting that I had been trying to call for twenty minutes, and asked whether or not the number was correct: she confirmed that it was, and blankly shrugged when I asked why no one had answered the only contact listed on their site.

She then informed me that she was going to lunch, and that I was free to hang around for an hour and five minutes if I wanted to proceed. I responded that I would need to confirm a substitute for my summer school class at 2PM, and went out to make the call: a few minutes and a lot of back-and-forth later, I returned to the lobby to find that the attendant had taken off, with no indication of what office (the complex is a labyrinth) was hers.

So, I tried to call the number from before. No answer. I waited for another fifteen minutes--two more calls, neither of which was picked up--and at 12:17, after standing around with zero way of confirming the 1 o'clock option, I left.

While I understand the policies as written, the handling of the situation feels like a total con-job. Giving customers a five minute grace period before charging them the full amount for their appointment without making even the most cursory attempt to call or text is ridiculous, but only slightly less so than providing those same customers with a single number for multiple locations that nobody ever answers.

Save yourself a headache (and forty bucks) and book your own fingerprinting with Jeanmarie's, in North Lynnwood. They actually care about their service and don't treat their customer base like second-rate suckers.
