I have now lost 9 months of bonding time with my own baby due to Ellen unnecessarily dragging out the process of establishing custody. At our court appearance, she claims to have never received emails regarding necessary documents in the case. I have now sent these files MULTIPLE times and have been tirelessly emailing and calling, asking her to confirm that she has received them. It is very clear that she is dragging out this process to get more time and therefore money out of her client with no regard to how this is negatively affecting my daughter and I. Ellen has also, intentionally, dead named me to my face as a trans individual. Very unprofessional and rude.

I retained Ellen to handle my divorce, and what should have been relatively straight forward became delayed and complicated. The case itself went on for longer than usual, and had a lot of elements involved.

Ellen and her team are rockstars. They did excellent at keeping me up to date on what was needed and the next steps. Their expertise and knowledge was not only evident, but was comforting as we navigated settlements and assets and all of the parts of a divorce that aren't fun.

Ellen was rude and didn’t seem as if she had time to listen to us. She was late for the consult appointment, we had to call her office 10 minutes into our consult to remind them so we didn’t lose the $200 we paid for the consult. Unless you have a very simple case I’d strongly advise to stay away!

Doesn't keep commitments, almost never responded to phone calls. I had gotten to calling and leaving a message once a week. A divorce that should have taken months drug on for 2 years. In addition there was a point where I was on 20% furlough and 10 pay cut and she promised to get my withholding changed. This caused a large problem because I couldn't afford to take care of myself and have my children over. I couldn't even pay my mortgage on my own. Which means I didn't get to see my children for at least a year because she didn't follow through on that promise among others. Thanks for ruining my relationship with my children.
