I highly recommend Bakersfield Paralegal and specifically Jessica because I didn't hire them.

I met with Jessica on the weekend regarding a guardianship. I had tried to do it myself, but it was impossibly complex.

Jessica explained the entire process to me, and I was completely ready to hire her. But instead of taking my money, she directed me to another service that represents people for free. She had a checklist for the other firm, and I appeared to meet all of the requirements, so she suggested that I first try to get the free services.

Jessica was right about everything!

I did what she suggested and I got help for free.

That really shows a lot of integrity, so I highly recommend the firm that I did not hire.

I started my divorce at another paralegal firm, and it was a disaster. The other firm just kept messing up the paperwork. I asked for full custody to me, and the other firm put full custody to respondent!

Thank god it was rejected, and I took everything to Bakersfield paralegal.

Jessica fixed the many errors and got everything filed the next day. A few days later, I got notified that the court accepted it.

I should also mention that the other firm
charged more and did less. Jessica's price included financial disclosures and a default, which the other firm wanted to charge me for.

Thankfully, the other firm didn't even get the petition filed. If they had got it filed, I would have spent much more and would have had to go back to court because of the custody error.

This is a Great place to pay 1600$ and not get any type of follow ups phone calls. And the best part is everytime you call it’s as if they don’t even know you. You gotta tell em your name and why your calling and you will get a false promise of a callback because the person you are trying to reach is never there.

Today is Saturday.

I needed an emergency order from the court, so I started looking online for legal document preparation firms. I was surprised that Bakersfield Paralegal advertised that they were open, so I called.

The man who answered the phone was very compassionate ( I was crying a bit), and he told me that someone would meet me at the office as soon as I was available.

I met with Jessica.

We filled out the contract, but my credit card was declined. Jessica said, " You need this order, so we're doing it."

She filled out all of the papers, and we just electronically filed with the court.

Jessica also set me up with an alternate mailing address, so when I move my problems won't move with me.

Had super high hopes for this place! Retained in January and still nothing has been done with a simple divorce. We were assigned to Shamone and have talked to her probably twice. It seems like months go by of leaving her messages with no return calls or updates. She has given us false hope by telling us things are going to be emailed, scheduled or filed when nothing has happened (the few times we have spoke with her). Hopefully if you guys are using them you don’t have to go through what we have been going through. It’s frustrating and disheartening how unprofessional this has been.
