Nicole and her paralegal at the time were mediators between myself and my now ex-business partner a couple of years ago. They assisted and helped negotiate selling my portion of the partnership to my business partner. It was not an easy process and very stressful but I thought Nicole was there to help and guide me along the way. When my business partner at the time got an attorney, I remember asking Nicole if I should get an attorney and she reassured me I did not need to. I regret following her advice. When it came time to sign the documents and sell my partnership I trusted Nicole and her knowledge which looking back I was naïve too. Fast forward to last December I received documents from the IRS stating I owed back taxes in regards to the business. I was reassured by Nicole this would not happen and on top of that taxes were withheld from my payout by the business. She did not include this in the purchase agreement and she is the only person that has this information which could help decrease the amount of money I owe to the IRS. I have tried and failed many time to reach Nicole. I have talked to her paralegal and left many voicemails but she will not return my calls. When I had the purchase agreement reviewed by two separate accountants they were confused on what the purpose of the agreement was. Looking back I should have gotten an lawyer that would have advocated for me and made sure there were no loose ends. It is very disappointing that she is unwilling to help and provide the information that I need.

Was a good experience until they got their first half of their payment then we didn't hear from them for 2 months and struggled to get them to answer their phone or return phone calls. When it came time to finalize the divorce settlement they are rushing us because they didn't do anything for months and we had to ourselves. What makes matters worse is I didn't ever know who I was dealing with when I got ahold of them and it seemed the left hand never knew what the right was doing. On top of that they kept incorrectly relaying information to my ex making an already difficult dynamic more contentious. If you're considering them, DON'T. Use literally ANYONE else.

Divorce is a horrific experience, but Nicole and her team are understanding, compassionate and supportive. They helped me understand the process, broke it into manageable sessions, were sensitive to how I was coping, and helped us work the legal issues out as peacefully as we could. With their help, we never had to add the pains and costs, financial and emotional, of fighting it out in court. If you find yourself facing divorce, especially one you didn't want, you should absolutely call Nicole for help. Nicole Casaus, owner of AZ Mediation Center, and her team are a very professional and efficient team in dealing with a variety of mediation and legal services. I have used Nicole to mediate my recent divorce as well as set-up a new Trust for me. While the divorce was difficult due to the behavior of the other party, Nicole was able to patiently work through the most challenging situations to come to a consensus agreement on the settlement.
