One of the worst lawyers I have dealt with. Had an easy case that could have been handled but because of the lack of attention, detail and professionalism my case went from paying a couple hundred bucks to having a suspension. When calling the office he swears he doesn’t pick up random numbers…. Even if it’s his clients. He will not pay attention to your case, he will get your money and show no interest in helping. This was my first and worst experience with a lawyer. After looking at the other reviews here on google hopefully he stops his practice

My husband and I give Mr. Burke 5 stars. Mr. Burke has handled ny husband's legal affairs for 6 years now, and we have always had a successful outcome. He doesn't do all our legal work, but what he does do, he does well. Great trial attorney. Mr. Burke knows the law in Illinois.

Robert is a terrible real estate attorney. Unreachable by phone because he doesn’t give out his cell phone number according to his secretary. I guess because he’s too important to be bothered by his job. Completely rude and arrogant. Avoid this place and this guy at ALL COSTS! Even if his services were free I would gladly pass. You’ve been warned.

Sad excuse of a lawyer. He agreed to take on an easy case where my 2 year old son was bit in the face at a veterinary clinic and he did absolutely nothing. I just wanted the medical bills covered. He could have been honest with us and told us he wasn't interested and we would have gone another route. I would not recommend this lawyer.

This is by far the worst lawyer I have ever experienced in my life. He is extremely unprofessional, incompetent, rude, belittling, and unworthy of being paid for his services (or lack of). He does not work in the client's best interest and I am absolutely dumbfounded that he has remained in business for as long as he has. He is appalling to say the least. If I could give negative 10 stars I certainly would do so. A new lawyer now has to be hired to try and fix all the problems Bob caused. The ARDC is being contacted immediately. The amount of evidence I have against this man proving his incompetence is astounding.

My parents have hired him for years for many different and difficult issues, and so has our pretty much entire family. I always referred him to friends and other family. I saw him in the court house today and was asking his advice on something, he did not know who I was and I have had him for an attorney a couple times. He was very rude, disrespectful, short, vulgar, complaining, disregarding, angry and walked away from me as I was talking. I will never use him for any matters ever again, nor will I refer him to anyone. I was absolutely appalled with his behavior and and insensitivity to what I was explaining to him. I would highly suggest thinking twive before hiring him for anything!

Beware of this attorney. Made errors on property tax forms that were filed with Mchenry County on home sale. Wants to charge money for affidavit stating that he made an error on P-Tax form (needed to file tax appeal) when it is his fault . Reporting to BBB and bar association.

Be sure to get in writing that your initial consultation is free. He just sends the bill no warning! Ethics = none!!!

Read your paperwork this so called lawyer files in court. He can't add and he refuses to correct his mistakes which have been costly. He doesn't send you paperwork to review either. Submits it to the court having the court believe its agreed upon. I would not give this place a dime!
