I couldn’t have been represented by a better person! From day one, Athena took her time in listening and collaborating with me on all the details of my case, of which there were many, to make an honest and educated opinion of whether I even had a case to proceed, first and foremost. It’s clear her honesty and professionalism come naturally as she offers opinions based on her experience and extensive knowledge of the law. I recently found it necessary to hire an attorney to represent me in a dispute with a former employer. Athena Herman came highly recommended by other attorneys.
During our initial consultation she explained the entire process of filing a complaint, chances of compensation, fees involved, and length of time to come to a settlement.
She kept me informed during the entire process, consulted me through all negotiations, and was always available to answer any questions.

Wife called in to get representation on a dispute with Dist. 108 Pekin Il. Secretary said she won't take cases against the district. They said it is a conflict of interest.? I looked into it further. She is definitely ethical.

Her offfice was very fast with a response to my inquiry and had a person available on the phone lines when called. Sadly, her fees were too high for me to afford a consultation so I couldn't meet with her in person to discuss anything. No payment plan was available for consultations.
