The first time I met Amy she was on ‘the other side’ as an assistant states attorney for a traffic violation I had. I met with her before court and loved how honest she was with me. Years later when we needed a family attorney, we used Amy for family court and she was amazing! Unfortunately it was a long, drawn out process and Amy was very compassionate and caring through the entire thing. She truly looked into everything to ensure she was fighting for the best interests of the children involved. She was honest and blunt with us when needed. Megan at the front desk was also very helpful during the process as well. I even recommended Amy to my mom when she was needing to do her will. Amy and Megan made a hospital visit to ensure Mom was comfortable and everything was finalized when Mom was afraid she wouldn’t ever leave the hospital. 100% recommend Amy to everyone!

I think she did well resolving My case in the circumstances of my current case and based off past offenses . At first it did seem like she sided more with the state but i believe thats because she used to be a states attorney . Probably a hard adjustment . I felt appreciative of having a lawyer that helped me with the things I needed in the best way she knew how to . Being a public defender is hard with having probably hundreds of cases to manage at one time . She doesn't have a bunch of time for one client because she has so many others at one time and at a way cheaper rate , that's what a lot of people don't understand.
