I have always loved this library! All of the resources, clubs, activities they have available are so wonderful. Also, I love how for the most part a lot of features of this library are accessible to the general public, such as their study rooms. I will say I am not the biggest fan of some of the staff. For the most part staff are typically more than happy to help! Some other individuals though seem to be annoyed by your presence. Also, the gossiping going at the adult service desk is honestly very disheartening to hear. You should be embarrassed speaking so lowly of other people, especially of your coworkers at your place of work! Do better & be an example for the community you serve!

Passport services here was great! We had an hour booked for 2 appointments and it only took about 20 minutes. The person who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable!

Great library has everything you would need plus more. The staff is super nice and helpful. The selection is huge. Drive thru drop off and pickup available. Large kids play area. Fun theme bags to take home. Plenty of quiet areas to read at

We borrowed the puzzle but it was broken before we opened! The manager called me and charged us $20.85 for puzzle and it only costs $14 in the retail stores! The worst thing is that the manager of customer service is so rude!!!!!! It was not all about money, just how to treat me or communicate with me weren’t professional at all…..

We have the best library. All of the librarians, especially in the children's section, are so kind and helpful. The library offers so many classes for varying interests, a maker's space for creating, a large play area for kids, and a "library of things" you can borrow like bocce ball, a mini projector, a Cricut, and so much more. There are no banned books at this library, and the children's section has many great inclusive titles to choose from. We love our library!

My favorite library in the area!

If you are an Algonquin resident, take advantage of all the library has to offer!

Huge makerspace with lots of classes offered from painting to sewing.
Lots of items to check out beyond books, video games, etc.
Enormous kids area, complete with a play area!
Not to mention all of the available online resources at your finger tips as well!

The staff is great on all levels and are very friendly!

Even if you aren’t an Algonquin resident, there is lots to do and be involved in as well!

Nice library. It's in a really nice lot and is a really nice building. Nothing spooky about it like some libraries and their lower levels. It's a nice place to think and surf the book shelves.
