I have been a client of AFCC off and on for many years participating in both private therapy and group therapy. Working on issues that held me back from being able to even start to feel comfortable in my own skin was extremely scary! Feeling that I deserved to be happy, be loved, feel worthy of anything good, and so much more was very foreign to me. Thanks to the time, patience, compassion, encouragement, and safety always provided by Herb and his staff I have grown into a much more confident, happy person than I have ever been. He has earned my trust a hundred times over! I would never hesitate to refer family, friends, or anyone to Herb or any of his staff at AFCC.

I just wanted to relay a personal story which relates to the dedication and support provided by Herb Rosenfeld and the Adolescent and Family Counseling Center. I was deathly afraid of making a public speaking engagement at a convention with 1000 people in attendance. I was only a week away and I was suffering from both physical and mental anxiety. Herb met with me 3 times on the weekend and on his days off, in order to fit my schedule. I was able to manage my fears and follow through with my presentation. I have seen Herb for over 10 years since my wife passed away at 52 and my world can closing in around me. Herb has always been there for me as I am sure he is with his other patients.

I will never forget how Herb was there for me and his wonderful attitude and his support and many difficult time in my life. I am sure that I am not alone in my feelings and I wanted to share them with everyone.
