I'm a little annoyed. I knew Robert personally to a degree before I became involved with this Law Firm. He approached me about a year ago when I was dealing with an issue at my job and was really enthusiastic about representing me. At the time he told me we would file two cases, and that continued to be the indication in all of our personal communications from my understanding, even though he was not great at responding to me.

As time went on, he became very distant in his communication, seeming to resent having to explain things to me. Although he did secure me compensation for one lawsuit, there were no mentions of the second and so I sent four follow-up messages to find out what was happening.

Today I finally found one page that was sent in a thick packet to me months ago that stated that they would not be representing me in the second case. It's my fault for not reading the entirety of the legal documents. But I am disappointed in the spotty communication with Robert and this staff, especially since we knew each other personally and also since there is a year-long statute of limitations on the case that I almost missed. In my eyes, informing me of this when I first asked in December/January would have taken just a thirty second e-mail.

Robert was fierce when dealing with their attorney. Mind you, the former employer is a large company with deep pockets. Robert didn't care. He stood his ground and did not allow the corporate guys to intimidate him. It was amazing to see.

I told Robert I was comfortable with a basic amount, as my goal was to call attention to an issue in the company. Robert got me twice the amount I was hoping for.

Robert answered all of my emails asking the same questions over and over. I was anxious about everything and he was patient and reassuring with me.

His firm's fees are reasonable and in-line with the industry standard, which is very fair.
