I recently had an experience with Lucy, where I was able to finally feel seen and heard in a discussion with a difficult individual. That is to say that the way that Lucy conducts her sessions, I felt a shift away from hopelessness and towards a sense of safety that I would at least be given time to speak when I hadn't in the past without a mediator. Lucy did a wonderful job summarizing and paraphrasing for both parties so that we could stay on track while maintaining a caring neutrality. She helped me to understand my situation for what it was, gave me space to respond, and even brought to light things I wasn't aware of while shedding light on rational thoughts and questions that I had for the opposite party so that we could arrive at next steps (this conversation was 4 years in the making without progress until Lucy's session). She also has a gentle but solid countenance that blends with a level of professionalism that seeks solutions rather than stalling out within difficult exchanges. I appreciate how she took time to understand the scope and dynamics of my personal situation from an objective standpoint in a way that did not overly consume the time that was booked with her - so we had plenty of space to share. I highly recommend booking two hours of her time because it will give you a chance to fully experience a balanced conversation. I appreciated her neutral support as it was comforting and clarifying! Lucy made a real difference!
