Donna and Richard first of all would like to say thank you Monica our attorney for such a wonderful experience with your firm through the years and present. My husband and I purchased a villa in Cozumel Mexico 9 years ago. We had a problem with getting our deed from the seller. The seller was paid in full but refused to release the paperwork needed to show it was paid in full. We had no problem getting it that was easy the rest not so easy a nightmare.
I started my search for attorney that practice law in Mexico so I called one in Dallas Tx. The gentleman I spoke with said he doesn’t do it anymore but he knows attorney that does. When I say this attorney doesn’t waste any time she was on it like a kid eating candy. She gathered up everything I had and went to work. These dealings were in Guadalajara
Mexico. She was there handling business for us. I could not believe it I was feeling so bad to the bone I said that’s what I’m talking about they don’t know who they dealing with lol. This attorney doesn’t play she is on point very confident and knows her stuff. When she has to add more fighting power she pulls out more ammunition. This was quite an experience for us and we thought we had made a mistake but we didn’t. Everything she does she will get with you and ask you questions and how you feel about certain routes to take. She is very up front with pricing and very reasonable. She traveled back and forth for us and got the end results Our Deed to the property. Our neighbor in the next villa over had the same situation we told them about Monica they called her and they got their deed after 9 years.
Anything to do with Mexico is done through our attorney we call and she delivers each and every time.
We have used her for helping us with our small business we are opening up soon she has had to run interference for us on the whole process with people trying to take advantage of us because we didn’t understand certain things. All is going really good and so excited.
We have just returned from Mexico she met us there to help with our permanent residence which we also received. Our outcome with this law firm is amazing. There are other partners there as well Anthony is another one. Please know that if you are interested in purchasing any property or residence in Mexico please contact this firm. We were in a really bad situation back then and could have lost a lot not really knowing what we were doing. Monica was amazing! After my husband passed away, I needed the original Fideicomiso title changed to my name (not an easy feat) - both my late husband and I are US Citizens. The system is cumbersome and complicated. Monica walked me through the steps and assisted with the transactions/steps. Once that piece was finalized, she assisted with the sale of the property which is quite different than USA real estate transactions. She reviewed all documents and walked me through the process.

I was referred to Monica to set up a Mexican (LLC-like) corporation to be used to purchase a home, as a means to avoid having to use the "fideicomiso" land trust option, which has its disadvantages. Monica walked me through the steps of forming the corporation then assisted me in purchasing a home near the beach in Baja California. With her help I saved thousands of dollars in the purchase process, which in this region can get very expensive with the blizzard of fees those involved in the real estate industry tack onto the home price.

Meanwhile, Monica assisted me in obtaining Permanent Residency immigration status in a convenient and, considering one is dealing with a government agency, very timely fashion. She even put up with my speaking in Spanish during our conversions but would switch into her excellent English when needed to ensure I really understood the specifics of the transaction.

Overall, Monica is competent, knowledgeable and friendly, and she helped me achieve the result I wanted, which I could not have achieved without her help. You really cannot ask for more.
