Now, we have received a service of him withdrawing due to lack of communication.
After reading this, I asked Mr. Werley to contact me.

With my wife present, he explained that we have no problem communicating, but in order to withdraw council he has to apply that as one of the issues for attorney/client termination.

This appears highly unethical and with all due respect Mr. Werley, you owe this veteran family a complete refund for misrepresenting yourself.

Let me start by prefacing that I did not know Mr. Werley in any capacity before hiring him ... I found Mr. Werley through a google search. When I spoke to him regarding the initial matter I wanted to hire him for he was so friendly, very thorough in his answers to my questions, and his rates were very fair and reasonable. I ended up hiring Mr. Werley for a different, more complex Child Custody matter involving my grandchild, during what also became a very difficult time for me personally. Upon meeting him, I was a little surprised that he was so young (Same age as my Kids!) But he very quickly banished any apprehension I may have had (due only to his age.) Through out my case, Mr. Werley was attentive and very responsive to communications, which turned out to be frequent as 1) this case was, as I mentioned, a bit complicated, 2) I tend to worry a lot, and 3) I can be an annoying perfectionist type. Mr. Werley was attentive to detail, always included me in each decision to be made, very kind and patient with me and very prepared for each step of this process. This Guy is smart as a whip and has a very reassuring nature. We ultimately Mediated my case which ended in my favor, but I have zero doubt that had we gone to trial, He would have argued my case to the same or even better result. If you're in need of an attorney for Criminal defense, Child Custody, divorce, or another matter, this is your guy! I will absolutely hire him again if/when needed and I will recommend him to anyone in need of legal service. He really is a fantastic attorney and really great guy in general!
