I hired this guy to represent me in my parents' estate. The people commenting here must be friends and/or family. After almost 3 years I got absolutely NOTHING done in the estate.

The first time we went to probate court, he was the only one who didn’t know why we were all there. Me, the judge, and the opposing party and lawyer all knew why we were in court that day. How embarrassing! I’ll never forget that.

The last straw was after I asked him for an update in April or May of 2024, he gave me a filing that he had given me the prior year. I knew then, actually way before then, I should have let him go.

The lawyers in Covington County are all in together and don't want to offend each other. He along with the others promise big things up front but don't deliver.

If you want an assertive or aggressive lawyer, look elsewhere.

Mr. Peek and his staff were great! They let me know that my situation was important and handled it professionally and timely. Mr. Peek has a way of making a person feel like their case is #1! I never felt rushed when talking to him, he answered all my questions and explained my choices and options with good clarity. His assistant was very helpful and always kept me updated and informed of the status of things.
